The Criteria To Apply for the YSB Scholarship the student must be:
  • Be a child or grandchild of an employee of the United Court System
  •Have at least a "B" Average
  • Must be currently attending college/or graduating from High School in 2005
  • Submit a letter of acceptance to a college or university
  • Provide a transcript from the college or institution
  • Parent or grandparent must work in the 5 boroughs of NYC, or Nassau Co./Suffolk Co. and Westchester Co.
  • Submit an essay of 2 pages/double spaced/12 point font on: "Describe your future aspirations and how the benefit of this scholarship will help you achieve them"
