   The Yvonne Schrouder Brown Foundation was organized  as  a   legacy   to   the  ideals   and principles  that  personified  the  life  of Yvonne Schrouder Brown.

    Yvonne's  life was filled with compassion and charity  for   all   who   came  to  her   seeking assistance in dealing with their daily lives or just in  need of someone  to  lend  an understanding ear.  In addition  to  this, Yvonne dedicated her life to helping young people who were interested in  furthering   their   education.  She  did   not hesitate  to help those  young people who were unable  to   meet   the  financial   requirements needed to go on to college.

    The purpose of the Yvonne Schrouder Brown Foundation  is  to  continue  Yvonne's spirit  of charity  by  awarding  an  annual scholarship to deserving   High  School  and college students   who   may otherwise  find  it  difficult if  not  impossible to continue in higher education.

    The  YSB Foundation  shall  be  committed to establishing  itself  as  a  pillar of  the New York State Court System as well as a beacon of light in  the  lives  of those who may benefit from its charitable work.
